Firearms brought onto Fort Riley must be registered AND must be declared at Fort Riley's access gates. Gate Guards will assist you in receiving a 5 day temporary registration form, if you do not have a valid Fort Riley registration for the firearm(s). The registration process can be finalized at the DES Physical Security Office, Building 219 during weekday, normal duty hours (not during weekends). The gun registration form can be downloaded from the list below. Note: Do Not take Firearm(s) to Building 219, only take registration form(s).

Vehicles being used for recreation on the installation must have a Fort Riley Recreation Motor Vehicle Permit filled out and in the dash of their vehicle when recreating. The permit is available to print below or maybe picked up at any of the eleven information stations or the Environmental Division Office.
