NOW AVAILABLE:  2026-2027 iSportsman Outdoor Recreation Permits and Conservation Permits may be acquired after taking the Fort Riley Outdoor Recreation Brief.

NEW FOR 2026:                                                                                                                                                                                        Recreationists utilizing training areas on Fort Riley for morel mushroom gathering and shed antler collecting are required to have a Fort Riley Conservation Permit.                                                                                                                                                                                       All recreationists have been required to check-in/out using the Fort Riley iSportsman webpage. Starting in 2026, failure to checkout will result in an automatic 7-day suspension of privileges, repeat failures may result in increased suspension lengths.                                     

ATTENTION TRAPPERS:  The Fort Riley Trapping Permits will be allotted through a first-come, first-served by stopping at the Environmental Office Building, on 407 Pershing Court or calling 785-239-8579.  There will be a maximum of 14 Trapping Permits issued for the Fort Riley season.  Click HERE for the 2025 Fort Riley Trapping Fact Sheet.

ATTENTION TROUT FISHERMEN:  Trout Season runs from Dec 1 - March 31.  Moon Lake and Cameron Springs will receive trout on Dec 1, Jan 5, and Feb 9.  Click HERE to see trout permit and fishing information.
