Fort Riley offers a variety of fishing opportunities for anglers. The fort offers 29 managed fishing ponds including Rainbow trout and Channel catfish stockings in selected ponds. In order to fish on Fort Riley you need to be in compliance with state of Kansas fishing license/permit requirements, as well as checking in and out of iSportsman, if entering a Training Area on Fort Riley. There is no Fort Riley fishing license required. The rivers and streams on the fort are also available for anglers offering a scenic angling opportunity.
